RRL coronavirus business service continuity
Our investment in infrastructure, and significant changes to culture and working practices in recent years means that we have plans in place to seamlessly continue to provide our full suite of services to our clients.
We have had a robust remote working structure in place for a while meaning that we can access everything we need to when working in an out-of-office environment, and already work in a predominantly paperless environment.
The majority of our staff will be working from home following yesterday’s announcement, and this is something many staff do on a regular basis in line with our flexible working culture. There will still be a presence in both of our offices each day – but this will be constantly reviewed in line with government guidance.
We would like to reassure you that we, at RRL are fully committed to the safety and health of our employees, clients and wider communities. Whilst we appreciate that we have a social responsibility to ensure maintaining good health as a high priority, we also are working to ensure that there is minimal disruption to our work and to maintain our usual high level of client services during this critical time.
All of us at RRL are committed to ensure the provision of all of our services to our clients continues without hurdles, delays or disruption, and we are confident in the plans and approach we are taking.
In order to ensure seamless business continuity we have put the following measures in place:-
- We have further extended our remote working infrastructure to ensure that all members of staff can work from home, including the purchase of additional licences and hardware to further enable this.
- Partners and Practice Director meeting regularly and actively seeking up to date guidance from Government and World Health Organisation.
- We are increasing our use of Skype and teleconference facilities
- We have cancelled all non-business critical meetings, training and events.
- Fast tracking the upgrade of our telephone system to ensure a seamless telephone service to our clients.
- We are regularly updating all staff on maintaining good health, advice from Government and our business continuity strategy.
- We are issuing regular and up to date advice and reminding staff of our employee support programme which can help them in these challenging times when stress levels may be increased due to uncertainty.
- We are also conscious that self isolation can raise a number of other challenges and affect mental health, so we have help, support and guidance around this.
We hope that you have found this information useful. If you would like to know more about what we can do to help you forward plan for your business, please contact your usual RRL Partner or team member.
