We have learnt that HMRC are allowing an automatic 2/3 month deferral for PAYE and VAT payments for the tourism/leisure industries.
To obtain this you will need to phone the dedicated phone number (be prepared to be on hold for over an hour)

- Corporation Tax
Say you are calling as a business.
You will be asked the following:
For VAT:
- VAT number
- Why you need deferral
- How long – say maximum. You will need to ring again on specified date at end of deferral.
For PAYE:
- Accounts reference number
- Employers reference number
- Post code
- Why you need deferral
- How long – say maximum. You will need to ring again on specified date at end of deferral.
