Grant Funding is available to women and girl-led organisations, partnerships, consortia and women’s funds who are supporting women to have collective power, build movements and become change agents.

The funding is available for three to five years for the following:

  • Single applicants can apply for grants of between £150,000 to £300,000.
  • Two or more organisations working in partnership can apply for up to £500,000.
  • Larger grants (up to £750,000) may be considered for women’s funds or others sub-granting.

This is expected to be a competitive programme and Comic Relief does not expect to fund projects in every country in which the funding is offered.

The Power Up: Resourcing Women’s and Girls’ Movements for Change programme is provided and administered by Comic Relief.

Comic Relief has launched ‘Power Up: Resourcing Women’s and Girls’ Movements for Change’, an open funding programme to support women and girl’s movements in the UK as well as the countries it funds in Africa and Asia.

Applications will be accepted from 8 October 2018 to 7 December 2018 (12pm).
