Deborah Hanghoy MAAT


After joining the firm in 1994, Deborah completed her AAT studies and now has considerable experience in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Deborah also trains new staff and gives help on the firm’s CCH Viztopia Accounts Software.

Deborah has recently taken up horse riding and enjoys walking with her dog and spending time with her family. She also enjoys visiting the Christmas markets, here and abroad.

In her spare time, Deborah enjoys spending time with her family and staying active by walking her family’s dogs, horse riding and attending classes at the gym.

Cheyenne O’Leary MAAT

Accounts Associate

Cheyenne joined the firm in 2013, after finishing her GCSEs and has since gone on to complete her AAT qualification, passing her final exams in 2017.

Cheyenne’s work includes tax return and accounts preparation.

In her spare time, Cheyenne enjoys cooking, reading and listening to music. She also likes spending time with her family and being taken for a well-earned drag by her two dogs.

Alex Reed BSc (Hons) ACA CTA

Senior Tax Associate

Alex was educated at Truro School and has lived in Cornwall all his life. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol in 2012, joining the firm immediately after. In 2015, Alex passed his Chartered Accountancy exams to become a Chartered Accountant, and in 2016, passed his Chartered Tax Adviser exams.

Through spending the majority of his time at the firm dealing in taxation, Alex has obtained a breadth of tax expertise. He has experience of private client matters, having worked predominantly in this sector in his early years at the firm, and is also experienced with regards to corporate clients, assisting Partner Simon Reed with his client base. Alex is also involved with advising on the business restructuring service offered by the firm under Tax Partner Steve Maggs.

Alex is an active sportsman and as well as his golf, plays hockey for a local team (where he is also the treasurer) and is also a keen skier. Now that he has returned from university, his aim is to cut his handicap to five, currently seven, and to hit the slopes more frequently.

Becca Walkden ACCA MAAT


Becca joined the firm in 2007. Following the completion of the AAT qualification in 2009 and further studies she has now qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.

She has experience in preparing tax returns and forms P11d and also preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

In her spare time Becca enjoys socialising with friends, quizzes and visiting zoos in the UK and abroad.
