Amalia Chambers BA (Hons) ACA


After graduating from the University of York with a degree in Music, Amalia returned to Cornwall and decided to pursue a career in accountancy. She has recently passed her final Chartered Accountancy exams, the qualifications and forthcoming membership of the ICAEW will mean she is now officially classed as a chartered accountant . Amalia has experience of the preparation of accounts for various organisations.

Amalia won the International Orders of Merit Knox Prize by achieving Joint First Place in the September 2013 Tax Compliance examination.

When Amalia is not busy studying, she enjoys her passion for music, is an avid reader and relishes spending time with her family and friends.


Deborah Hanghoy MAAT


After joining the firm in 1994, Deborah completed her AAT studies and now has considerable experience in preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Deborah also trains new staff and gives help on the firm’s CCH Viztopia Accounts Software.

Deborah has recently taken up horse riding and enjoys walking with her dog and spending time with her family. She also enjoys visiting the Christmas markets, here and abroad.


Clare Kent FCCA CTA


Clare joined the firm in 2014 and she currently prepares management accounts and VAT returns for clients. She gained her ACCA qualification in 2009 and has recently gained her FCCA and CTA qualifications.

Clare is also accredited in Sage accounting software.

Clare has interests in horse riding, kayaking and motorbikes.


Cheyenne O’Leary MAAT

Accounts Associate

Cheyenne joined the firm in 2013, after finishing her GCSEs and has since gone to complete her AAT qualification, passing her final exams in 2017.

Cheyenne’s work includes tax return and accounts preparation.

In her spare time, Cheyenne enjoys cooking, reading and listening to music. She also likes spending time with her family and being taken for a well-earned drag by her two dogs.

Ben Rance BA (Hons) ACCA


After graduating from the University of Exeter with a degree in Economics and Finance Ben returned to Cornwall and began pursuing a career in Accountancy.

Ben completed his exams and training with the firm and is now a qualified Chartered Certified Accountant. Ben has experience in preparing accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.  Ben has been furthering his development by specialising in the charity and not for profit sector, which includes our Academy School clients.

Ben has a keen interest in staying active, be it rock climbing or hiking along the Cornish coast. He hopes to see more of the world and wants to start his travels by going to the Canadian Rockies.


Graham Ratcliffe MAAT


Graham joined the firm in 1996 and has gained extensive experience since then. He currently undertakes a wide range of work including preparing charity and company accounts, auditing of accounts and grant claims, independent examination of charity accounts,  and completion of company and personal tax returns.

He is a committee member of the Cornwall Branch of the Association of Accounting Technicians, who organise training courses for members in Cornwall.

In his spare time he is a keen badminton player, and the treasurer of a local club.

Other interests include photography, walking, gardening and DIY projects.


Alex Reed BSc (Hons) ACA CTA

Senior Tax Associate

Alex was educated at Truro School and has lived in Cornwall all his life. He graduated with a degree in Mathematics from the University of Bristol in 2012, and joined the firm straight after.

In 2015 Alex passed his final Chartered Accountancy exams to become a Chartered Accountant. Alex has joined the Tax Team to allow him to specialise in tax and passed his Chartered Tax Advisor exams in January 2017.

Alex is an active sportsman and as well as his golf, plays both hockey and cricket for local teams and is a keen skier. Now that he has returned from university, his aim is to cut his handicap to five from its current position of nine and to hit the slopes more frequently.

Becca Walkden ACCA MAAT


Becca joined the firm in 2007. Following the completion of the AAT qualification in 2009 and further studies she has now qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant.

She has experience in preparing tax returns and forms P11d and also preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

In her spare time Becca enjoys socialising with friends, quizzes and visiting zoos in the UK and abroad.
